La Maison du Rhum Venezuela 2016 Ex-Bourbon #6

La Maison du Rhum Venezuela was distilled in 2016 and then fully matured in ex-Bourbon casks until 2023.
Woody notes, some cigar box and dried vanilla scents come from the glass. In the mouth the attack is smooth. It reveals flavors of stewed fruit sprinkled with herbs. In the aftertaste, the wood and dried vanilla are reminiscent of the maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels.
 
Nose: woody, blonde tobacco, cigar box, dried vanilla.
Taste: stewed fruit, vanilla, spices.
Finish: woody, dried vanilla.
